Zvezda M4A2 Sherman Tank kit

Named after the general of the Northern States Army during the American Civil War, the M4 Sherman tank was the main tank of the US Army during World War II. The M 4 Sherman tanks began to arrive in the Soviet Union under Lend-Lease at the end of 1943. Reliable and maneuverable, the Shermans were also quite technological. Its diesel version, the M4A2, became the most massive foreign-made medium tank used by the Red Army. The main armament was an American 75 mm M3 L / 37.5 tank gun. For Soviet tankers, this tank was nicknamed "emcha" (from M4). During the Second World War, the Red Army received about 2007 tanks.
