The Taifun is a German single-engine sports and touring aircraft developed by Bayerische Flugzeugwerke (Bavarian Aircraft Works) in the 1930s. The full size Bf 108 is of all-metal construction with total number built 885.
The four-seat Bf-108 was designed in 1934 for competitions and as a high-speed aircraft. Elly Beinhorn, a German sport pilot, crossed three continents in a record flight in 1936 with the Bf-108 in just one day, which gave the aircraft the nickname "Taifun". The flight model is in no way inferior to the original in terms of flight performance and appearance.
