Product Description Seagull has done it again with this outstanding 1/5-scale rendition of the between the wars Boeing P-26 Peashooter. Famed for being the first American all-metal production fighter, the P-26 first flew in 1932 but quickly became the victim of rapid progress in aviation. Just three years after its first flight the aeroplane's wire-braced wings, fixed landing gear and open cockpit were competing with the enclosed cockpit, retract-equipped and aerodynamically clean Curtiss P-36, Messerschmitt 109 and Hawker Hurricane. But what a fabulous subject for an unusual scale R/C model.
Built to Seagull's usual high standards, beautifully covered and finished, and perfect for any 30cc petrol engine, or glow / electric equivalent, this is a model that has undeniable presence. With the four primary controls, inset flaps and no retracts to worry about, it's a practical, all-occasion flier, one that any intermediate or experienced pilot will quickly fall in love with.
