Product Description Designed to replace the Cessna O-1 Bird Dog, the O-2 Skymaster observation aircraft took to the air in January 1967 and served with the US military right up until 2010. Of the 513 built, a staggering 178 were lost in the Vietnam war. A military version of the Cessna 337 Super Skymaster the O-2A was specifically designed for use in forward air control missions and had the ability of carrying underwing ordnance such as rockets, gun pods and flares.
