The ASK 14 is a very popular single-seat motor glider. It real aircraft was ablr to take off with out the need of a glider tugng and had exceptional cross-country flight characteristics. This was particularly important to us when the model was faithfully implemented. Our many years of experience in the construction of glider models has been used in the construction of this model, and these details can be viewed in this aircraft. The model is made entirely of wood and impresses with its excellent construction. Due to the low take-off weight of around 2500g, it has excellent flight characteristics, especially when gliding with the engine switched off. Even minor thermal breaks ensure good buoyancy.
We recommend the powerful BOOST 40 brushless motor or similar as a drive, with which the model can be brought up to altitude within a few seconds. As standard, the model is equipped with a rigid landing gear that allows easy ground starts. Of course, the model can also be started by hand. A high-quality glider retractable landing gear is available as a special accessory, which further underlines the scale character of the model. Furthermore, our tried and tested electrical spoilers can be retrofitted as required. This enables precise landings and in strong thermals it gives you the certainty of decending the model at any time. Another trend-setting highlight in this model is the extra-large canopy, in which the bonnet is virtually integrated. It can be completely removed from the top and is secured with a magnetic lock.
