15 Turn motor limit
The TT-45 is a brushed speed control designed specifically for use in RC model cars with red LED running lights.
It has a 15 turn motor limit, what this means is that you can use any, DC brushed 540 motor, or smaller, as long as the number of turns on that motor are 15 or more. For example, a 10 turn motor is not appropriate but a 35 turn motor would be.
The TT range of speed controllers feature our new TRUE TORQUE system, this is a new way of accurately controlling motor current, it virtually eliminates motor saturation and due to the amazing power of the latest miniature processors we have, at last, been able to incorporate this into our new range of speed controllers.
The main advantage of TRUE TORQUE is the way in which motors and batteries are protected from dangerous currents, even in a full power motor stall situation. But as well as this, motor life is extended due to lower brush wear, particularly in high power models.
These new controllers also have Li-Po battery support and three driver profile modes, so the controller can be used as a forwards and brake only, forwards and instant reverse or forwards, brake then reverse!
The TT-45 is sure to be a popular choice from the new line of TT car speed controls, this is due mainly to all the features that are included, such as a built in failsafe, 100% proportional, fine throttle control in both directions, and motor stall protection, which is a feature that cannot be overlooked when getting stuck in the long grass or undergrowth is a definate possibility. Not to forget that the Viper range of speed controllers are all completely 100% waterproof and designd to work in the wet so even the traditional UK weather doesn't have to stop you having fun!
