An Egg lofting rocket designed for Estes C11 and D engines. Carrying a regular size raw egg as a payload comes very close to exceeding max lift capability of most C6 engines used in other eggloft kits. Use a C11 engines and you get a safe stable flight and a recovery suited for small sized flying fields.
Clear payload is big enough to carry TWO eggs! (with a D12-3 engine). Swept fins allow the rocket to stand by itself. The main body tube and clear payload section are both the same diameter allowing a standard launch lug to be glued into place with no awkward stand-off needed. Through the wall thick balsa fins for easier alignment and super strength.
All these features add up to less time building and more time for your students to perform experiments with their "eggstronauts".
