The Zlin Z-526 Akrobat is a Czechoslovakian sports and aerobatic plane from the post-war period. The machine was built in the low wing configuration with the landing gear retracted in flight in the classic configuration. The flight of the prototype took place in 1959, and serial production started shortly thereafter. More than 1,400 aircraft of this type, of all versions, were created in its course. The length of the aircraft in the Trener-Master version was 7.8 m with a span of 10.6 m and a height of 2.06 meters. Initially, the drive was provided by a single 160 HP Walter Minor 6-III engine, but over time other power units were also used. The maximum speed was up to 220 km / h. The Z-526 model was designed by the Czechoslovak aviation plant Zlin Aircraft as, which produced the first plane in its history in 1933! The presented model was a far-reaching development of other aircraft produced in the Zlin plant - including the Z-181 model. In the course of serial production, several versions of this aircraft were created, among them: Z-526 (basic version, two-seater), Z-526A (single-seat version), Z-526AFM Condor (version powered by Avia M337 engine) or Z-526F (version powered by Avia M137A engine). Undoubtedly, the Zlin Z-526 aircraft turned out to be a successful design, which was quite successful on the domestic and foreign markets.
