What better way to get kids interested in rocket science than with the coolest, most colorful rocket in town! The Double Ringer, named after its unique gliders, is an easy-to-build beginner rocket with snap together plastic parts. Once the fin unit is together and the main rocket is intact, a pair of scissors and a bit of glue is all that is needed to ready this rocket for the launch field.
Using an Estes Porta-Pad II launch system and powered by a C6-3 engine (both sold separately), this two-foot tall rocket can reach 500 feet in the air. Kids can easily retrieve the bright orange and yellow rocket parts and race back to the launch site for additional flights (and fun!).
WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD: Scissors, ruler, sandpaper, masking tape, clear tape, plastic cement. Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included.
WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH (sold separately): Estes Porta-Pad II launch pad with launch controller, Estes model rocket engines, recovery wadding and four 1.5V high-quality AA alkaline batteries (not included).
