The Panzer II Ausf. L. 'Luchs' (Lynx) is widely regarded as the ultimate variant of its class and featured interleaved road wheels, a 20mm cannon and 7.92mm machine gun. Designed for fast reconnaissance on both the East and Western fronts, 100 were built between September 1943 and January 1944.
