History in the Making - Flown by Major John Ingis Gilmour 1918
Microaces love of aviation history ensures that the aircraft we reproduce as kits look fantastic on static display as well as in the air.
The kit is no exception, and replicates one of the most famous Camels of WWI. On the 21st of April 1918, Canadian Ace, Roy Brown made an attack on the Red Baron's triplane whilst it was attacking one of his fellow pilots. Manfred von Richthofen crashed shortly after and Brown was credited with his death. The facts of the incident have been a source of much research and it is suspected that ground fire played a vital role too.
Included in this multi-media model is a vac-formed cowl, free spinning 3D printed fuel pump prop and rigging part PLUS a spinning dummy rotary engine kit. All these extras add an incredible level of mechanical and visual detail to this astounding model.
This Microaces kit is now supplied 'as standard' with the most suitable Microaces motor/gearbox and propeller combination for the model.
So to complete the kit for radio controlled flight, all you need is an All In One (AIO) Receiver that's compatible with your transmitter. Selecting the right receiver to complete your kit:
