Overview
Microaces F.2b S.No. D8084 Brisfit kit - Flown by Sydney Dalrymple of No.139 Squadron
To complete you will also need transmitter, Microaces AIO 5 Channel Receiver to match your Tx, battery and charger, adhesives etc.

Flown by Australian Pilot Ace Capt. Sydney Dalrymple of No.139 Squadron based in Northern Italy in 1918.

Microaces Bristol F.2b kit sees a substantial kit revision that incorporates a rib-less wing design for a more scale appearance, plus a number of new scale features and options to make it even more appealing to the scale enthusiast.

The Microaces Bristol F2b kit can arguably reclaim the title of 'the most detailed microscale aircraft of the Microaces range'. Now with strut mounted pitot tube and a 3D printed rotating fuel pressure pump prop mounted on the undercarriage included in the kit.

History in the making
Our love of aviation history ensures that the aircraft we choose to reproduce as kits not only look fantastic on static display and in the air, but they also carry a depth of history that can be explored. Brisfit D8084 was flown by Australian Pilot Ace Capt. Sydney Dalrymple of No.139 Squadron based in Northern Italy in 1918.

This Microaces kit is now supplied 'as standard' with the most suitable Microaces motor/gearbox and propeller combination for the model.

So to complete the kit for radio controlled flight, all you need is an All In One (AIO) Receiver that's compatible with your transmitter.
Selecting the right receiver to complete your kit:

The Microaces AIO 5CH micro receiver (NOT INCLUDED)is available with the following protocols. If unsure, check your transmitter instruction manual to find out which protocol(s) it uses. Then select the compatible receiver protocol below to view the appropriate receiver to add to your order.
DSM2/X Compat. S-FHSS Compat. FrSky D8 Compat. FrSky D16 Compat.

'Bomb's away!' (NOT INCLUDED)

The Bristol F.2b was originally designed as a bomber and, although it was much more successful as a fighter aircraft, it retained the capability to carry ordnance on three detachable racks on the underside of the lower wings.

We've 3D modeled the rack of four 25lb Cooper bombs and the more substantial Royal Laboratories 112lb HE bomb and rack that can be attached to any of the three points on the Brisfit to elevate the level of detail of this kit beyond anything available at this scale (and a good deal larger too).

The ordnance can be taken into the air too: the weight of the Cooper Bomb Rack is 1.8g and the RL 112lb Bomb and Rack is even lighter at only 1.2g. So the effect on flight performance is minimal.
